This year BlinkOn surprisingly(!) happened in downtown Toronto. This means no traveling for me, it’s always nice to have a conference locally.
For those who don’t know BlinkOn heavily focuses on all things Blink and Chromium. However, this event also facilitates discussions and progress around making the Web and browsers better. For fans of JS, the V8Lite talk was very exciting. For fans of Web Browsers, Microsoft prepared a talk on migrating to Blink in their Edge browser. I thoroughly enjoyed the event, it was great to meet old friends (from 10 years ago!) and make new ones. 🙂
